Overview
A Ram-Air Turbine test is one of the mandatory ground checks that keeps an aircraft’s emergency-power system airworthy. RH Aero supplies the complete, Airbus-certified RAT Testing family—engineered and produced by TEST-FUCHS and distributed worldwide through RH Aero. The core kit comprises the PGRAT1 test unit with integrated flow-/pressure instrumentation, matching RATMK ground-check motors for each airframe, and the optional RAT Safety Interface Kit (RSIK1) that protects the drive-shaft seal during the run-up. Versions are available for the A320/A330/A340, A350 (RATMK350) and A380 (RATMK380) programmes.

Typical operations
- Scheduled ATA 29 functional checks during heavy- or calendar-limit maintenance
- Post-maintenance verification after hydraulic-system or RAT repairs
- Line-maintenance spot checks using battery, mains or aircraft 28 V DC supply (PGRAT1 cart is self-powered)
