Supplemental Cooling

Overview

Supplemental-cooling systems on the Airbus A350 and A380 use Galden® heat-transfer fluid and nitrogen back-pressure, so they require specialist ground equipment rather than a generic hydraulic cart. RH Aero’s line, engineered by TEST-FUCHS and supported through our worldwide service-centre network, covers every task, from a full system drain to a quick top-up. For the A350 we supply the fully automatic SCST1 cart and the compact SCST1-TU hand-pump unit, while the A380 is served by the SCSR1-1M1 dual-circuit refill device. All three tools are Airbus-certified under ATA 21-59 and operate between –30 °C and +50 °C, ensuring reliable performance in any hangar or ramp environment.
